Welcome to my website! My name is Lois M. Kruse and I am a fine art photographer. I work mostly in black & white traditional darkroom photography & hand color my work, but I also do some digital work here and there. I do all my own printing including digital prints up to 44" x 100". A large portion of my work is hand colored black & white photos. My passion in art is mostly drawn from the composition and contrast of beautifully shot black & white images taken in an array of subjects. On many occations I will take that beauty further by adding a select amount of color to make key elements in the photograph stand out.

I've used infared film for many of my favorite shots in the past. Unfortunately it is now very difficult to get ahold of any film, so I am converting one of my digital cameras to take only infared shots. You can visit my GALLERY page to view some of my infared work.

This is not my speciality, but I have been working in this medium for some time now. You can see what I have done so far on my GALLERY page.
